Brief Description:   Hike the Powerhouse segment of the John Muir Trail along the Hiwassee River

Post Trip Report: Twelve people hiked the powerhouse segment of the John Muir Trail on a beautiful sunny day. We viewed many different wild flowers and saw signs of wild hog. We sang Happy Birthday to Ron and remembered Linda for she shared the same birth date. Hikers were Vicky Brown, Ken Duncan, Esther and Ron Nunley, Stephen, Diane and Michael Cartwright, Sheri Stewart, Faith Marshall, Verna Townsend, Jane Bohannon and hike leader Ruth Gafford.
